KM2 Solutions Expands Barbados Operation
Bridgetown, Barbados – KM2 Solutions is proud to announce the expansion of its Barbados facility in order to accommodate the company’s growing client base.  Located in the capital city of Bridgetown, KM2 Solutions has expanded operation by occupying an additional building within the Harbour Industrial Business Park.  The company now occupies both building 2 and 6, allowing for total capacity of over 1,500 call center employees.  This expansion is the latest chapter in a larger plan to utilize Barbados as a central component in the company’s multinational nearshore business model. 
Inaugurated in June 2007, the KM2 Solutions Barbados facility was the company’s second site in the Eastern Caribbean.  KM2 Solutions has emerged as Barbados’ largest outsourcing industry employer.  The expansion is an essential element of the company’s mission to empower agents by offering viable career paths.  The growth in headcount will facilitate the internal promotion of many current agents, with a high level of experience and expertise, to managerial positions and specializations which include training, quality assurance, human resources, IT, sales, and collections.  In addition to an increase in headcount, the expansion will allow for a full-time medical office staffed with expert physicians, as well as a daycare facility to accommodate working families with young children.
Thus far, KM2 Solutions’ partnership with Invest Barbados and the Barbados Investment Development Corp. at Harbour Industrial Park has been a resounding success.  This expansion is a testament to all of the incredible opportunities that exist for outsourcing BPO work to this small, yet highly developed and well-run nation.
